In June, the members of Balluff korea volunteered at Paldal Elderly welfare Center.

The staff of Balluff Korea, which was established in 2016, especially with a goal of serving for the communities by taking responsibility for public welfare as a member of society, are making efforts to contribute to the communities every quarter, starting with the first volunteer activity last year through GFCRC’s service arrangements.

This service, which is the second after April, was done to be of great help to Paldal Elderly Welfare Center in which there have been many users because it is located at the highest percentage district of elderly population in Suwon-city, but it has been suffering from difficulties recruiting volunteers for only one year since its opening.

In the early morning this day, first, the volunteers of Balluff korea prepared lunch boxes for the seniors who could not attend due to the inconvenience of moving, and, next, they did nutritious lunch ingredients for 250 to 300 seniors and assisted in cooking while sweating despite an issued warning of “heat wave”. They carried out a cleanup so that the elderly could have a pleasant meal time, and they care for the elderly well not to feel discomfort during the meal. It was a hard time that lasted for five hours, but the volunteers did their best in silence, and, as a result, the elderly could enjoy the best time of the day.

The volunteers of Balluff Korea expressed their service activities that “it was rewarding for us to spend our time with the seniors at Paldal Elderly Welfare center enough to keep as a memory and we hope that the elderly will be restored with nutritious meals and overcome well the heat this year.“

The Balluff Korea, with a management philosophy of innovation and accountability ensuring sustainability, will fulfill, as a member of society, its responsibilities throughout the community in the future. The Balluff Korea is expected to continue to fulfill, as a community-win-win advanced model, its helpful social responsibilities.
