Last year, employees of Kaeser Compressors Korea celebrated the 100th anniversary of its foundation by volunteering at the Myeongjin Orphanage.

This is their second visit after 2018. It was made possible by Kaeser Compressor Korea's strong desire to share a meaningful time with the orphans.

They collected about 200 books for children and brought them on the day of their visit. They also made donations.

The Myeongjin Orphanage is home to about 60 children. Due to the geographical location of the home, children cannot go out frequently because the playground is far away. So they decided to be the guardians of the children for the day. For the safety of the children, they were divided into few teams and had play time. As children were excited since it had been a while from their last outing, they roamed the playground. As a result, some employees, who could not keep up with the energetic children, broke into a sweat.

Thanks to the great care of the employees of Kaeser Compressors Korea, the children spent hours playing and laughing. After the play time, they served the children’s favorite food, hamburgers, with the children and read them books. They had a wonderful time together to the end.

“The meeting with children, which continues every year, is so rewarding and meaningful that we will continue our relationship with the children, rather than this being a one-off event. We want to continue to give them our ongoing attention and love.” said the social contribution officer of Kaeser Compressors Korea.

With the affectionate volunteering activities of Kaeser Compressors Korea, the children could have an exciting and enjoyable day. We look forward to more charitable activities of Kaeser Compressors Korea, which shared the joy of the 100th anniversary of its foundation with the local community and strives to deliver warmth through continuous social contribution activities.
